R.L. Wurz Company, distributor of construction and restoration products in Northeast Ohio, announced the acquisition of WB Construction Products, a distributor of construction and specialty products in Columbus and Cincinnati. The acquisition was official on Friday, March 25, 2022.

Tom Lavelle, owner of the R.L. Wurz Company said, “The acquisition of WB Construction Products will provide significant benefits to customers with more selection of high-quality specialty products, technical expertise and service throughout Ohio.” He also stated, “With four locations–Akron, Cincinnati, Cleveland and Columbus—Wurz can offer customers more convenience when jobs take them out-of-town. They can easily access one of our locations–saving time and money because they will have our products and services available to them wherever a job takes them in Ohio, which has always been a goal of ours.”

Jay Cheney, a longtime RL Wurz and WB Construction Products’ branch manager, will be managing Wurz’s Columbus and Cincinnati locations. We are confident Jay’s leadership will provide an outstanding experience for our customers, vendors and partners.
