Avanti AV-219 Fibrotite (Oakum)

AV-219 Fibrotite™ (Oakum) is a strong fibrous twisted jute material free of oils and tars. AV-219 is designed for use with polyurethane grouts using the Expanded Gasket Placement Technique (EGP).

APPLICATIONS, FEATURES, AND BENEFITS OF AV-219 FIBROTITE (OAKUM):

• Various cracks or joints in concrete or annular space around slip liners
• The fibrous jute is designed for use in areas where a carrier is needed to keep resin in place (i.e. vertical wall joints, overhead cracks/joints, concrete pad)
• Use in place of or in conjunction with joint gaskets for large sewer/storm water transmission lines
• Provided in easy-to-handle, pre-cut 2-foot (0.6 m) sections or large coils
• Diameter of sections is ±1 inch (2.5) cm)
• Tightly twisted jute allows for minimal compression
• Can be used in large or small joints/cracks
• Durable for use in all conditions including underwater applications
