Avanti AV-278 Low Vis Hydro 5-Gal

AV-278 Low Vis Hydro™ is a very low viscosity, moisture-activated MDI-based polyurethane resin. The water/moisture activation is a two-step chemical reaction and is catalyzed by mixing AV-279 Low Vis Accel™ with AV-278. Injected as a single component, AV-278 permeation grouting is designed to react quickly with moisture to bind together and waterproof loose granular soils and fill voids. AV-278 has a very high expansion rate to fill voids, stops active or potential water leaks, and stabilizes soils. AV-278 must be injected into a confined soil. AV-278 permeates well, and cures to form a dense, impermeable rigid soil/grout matrix, withstands wet/dry cycles.

AV-279 Low Vis Accel is the catalyst designed exclusively for use with AV-278 Low Vis Hydro. Typically, up to one container of AV-279 is used per pail of AV-278.  Do not use more than one container of AV-279.

AV-278 Low Vis Hydro is certified for NSF/ANSI/CAN 61 - Drinking Water System Components.
